Kiewit Technology Group (KTG) is looking for a leader of its Project Management group. Striving to ensure the certainty of successful technical project delivery, KTG leverages both Waterfall and Agile methodologies as appropriate. The Sr. Manager of Project Management will staff and develop a team of project managers to deliver a variety of projects, including launching new products and services, large-scale application development, systems integration, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments. We are looking for an accountable leader to drive continuous improvement, effectiveness, and efficiency that will have wide ranging positive effects across our Technology Group.


• Track project initiation process; manage approval, priority, and scheduling of projects of varying type, scale, and complexity

• Develop, evolve, and monitor adherence to all Project Management methodologies, processes, procedures, and policy

• Education and communication of aforementioned Project Management requirements to new and existing extended team members and process stakeholders

• Hire, develop, coach, mentor, assign, and hold accountable Project Management staff

• Develop measurement and reporting of appropriate metrics and KPIs to track project requirements, progress, health, and estimates against actuals

• Form effective relationships with Product Management leaders to ensure alignment of priorities and objectives and measure satisfaction levels

• Work to anticipate and resolve issues, conflicts, and other barriers to project success as they arise


• Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 5 – 10 years’ experience in IT Project Management with an emphasis on large and complex projects and teams

• Proficiency in Agile Development Methodology, Scrum

• Solid knowledge of project management processes, systems development methods, organizational change management concepts, and business process improvement methods

• Experience working with ERP systems preferred (SAP is a plus)
