MEC-Transportation has projects in cities all across the United States, so our people must be willing to go where the work is. Job assignment location will be determined closer to your start date. Our operations include:

As a Scheduling Analyst, you’ll play a key role in planning and scheduling activities on a varity of Energy projects. This hands-on role will give you the opportunity to directly impact the scheduling outcome over a broad range of projects in various stages of development and progress. By analyzing,monitoring and maintianing the project’s progress, you’ll prepare and analyze reports, develop alternative solutions, and drive successful project completion.

Responsibilities:

•Provide input for narrative development and gather appropriate project data

•Work with project superintendents to verify the 3-week and 90-day schedules correlate to the IMS.

•Obtain data necessary for preparation of delay analyses

•Implement and follow project document control plan/procedures

•Continuously execute schedule functions according to the standards

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or technical training and related experience

•Proficiency in various project controls software such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, Smart Sheet, Excel and other company-specific software

•Ability to input data and run project reports

•Basic understanding of Earned Value Management system

•Understand basics of sequencing, means & methods, and the planning process.

•Atten project planning meetings

•Should have knowledge or basic ability to read drawings and specifications

•Uses proper grammar, spelling, formatting, and organization within a schedule narrative so that information is effectively communicated.
