Responsibilities
-Responsible for the implementation and operations of the Project Safety Program including the development of site safety policies and procedures
-Conducts training, new hire orientation and Safety Meetings
-Monitor all construction work for compliance with safety requirements
-Knowledge of construction safety, current Federal and OSHA requirements is a must
-Reports to the Area Manager
Qualifications
-Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent degree/work experience is required
-Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills; demonstrate good organizational and communications skills
-Candidates must be able to act independently with little or no supervision and as a team player
-Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
-Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
