Responsibilities
* Supervises the IM resources dedicated to the Construction Project Execution business process task forces involved in the ERP development and deployment effort.
* Accountable for ensuring that business process definition, related software system design, and system build work aligns with the business processes and requirements agreed upon and documented by the respective Business Process Owner(s) in these task forces.
* Accountable for operating within the IM Project Controls Framework, and ensuring that the task forces under his / her responsibility do the same, including complying with all cost / budget / and quality tracking and progress reporting requirements. Responsible for ensuring that all task force activites required to defining, designing, building, and deploying enterprise software solutions are properly planned, scheduled, and executed.
* Supports and coordinates with these task forces in assessing business requirements, potential system constraints, and potential business process opportunities afforded by system functionality, including evaluation of alternative system options.
Qualifications
* Seven (7) + years of experience in executing, managing, and leading Kiewit contruction activities, including the use of or familiarity with existing Kiewit software systems designed to manage those processes.
* Sound understanding of Kiewits business objectives within these processes and how they integrate to other processes within Kiewits overall business model.
* Demonstrated pattern of success in managing and leading teams within a project environment.
* The vision not just to understand what is but what can be.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Information
Primary responsibility is to lead and manage joint business and IM task forces dedicated to defining, designing, and and building Kiewits enterprise software solutions for executing construction operations, including project controls, labor and equipment productivity (including quantity collection and daily cost), work planning, procurement and material management, contract administration, and contract billings, as part of Kiewits overall ERP development and deployment effort.
