Responsibilities
Reports to the Project Manager. Responsible for the implementation and operations of the Project Safety Program including the development of site safety policies and procedures. Conduct training, new hire orientation and Safety Meetings. This position is responsible for monitoring all construction work for compliance with safety requirements.
Qualifications
o Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent degree/work experience is required.
o Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills; demonstrate good organizational and communications skills.
o Candidates must be able to act independently with little or no supervision and as a team player.
o Must be able to operate a standard personal computer.
o Knowledge of construction safety, current Federal and OSHA requirements is a must.
o Certification of Professional or Emergency Medical Technician is also desired.
o Ability to carry out duties in varying environments including wide ranging weather conditions and terrain.
o Ability to travel and relocate is a must.
