Responsibilities
Provide and/or coordinate full estimating services on large, complex heavy civil/mechanical and water resources construction projects for bid-build and design-build projects.

* Perform project estimates and bid information to ensure accurate and timely information.

* Preparation of project estimates to ensure all factors are properly considered, priced, and included in the estimate summary.

* Performing site visits and investigations.

* Job cost projections and audits.

* Constructability studies.

* Research services for methods, costs and construction techniques.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management or related degree, or equivalent experience in a construction related position.
*7-10 years experience in misc. metals, architectural, earthwork estimating for bridges/dams/tunnels/water treatment plants/waste water treatment plants.
*Front end and back end user of Timberline.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
* Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Strong written and verbal communications skills.
* Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
* Strong work ethic - Willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* The ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments.
* The ability to travel and relocate as required.
